Meticulous Preparation

Preparation is always key to a flawless finish. Every surface was:

• Thoroughly cleaned down to remove grease and built-up residue
• Lightly sanded to key the surface and smooth imperfections using my 99% dust-free sander
• Primed with a specialist adhesion primer, ideal for varnished wood

This level of detail ensures the paint bonds properly and lasts for years to come.

The Transformation

Once prepped, I used a spray application to repaint the kitchen units in an off-white shade. This not only helped to reflect more light around the room but also brought a modern edge that sat beautifully against the remaining pine features, the dining table, and dark floor tiles. This colour choice was carefully selected to lighten the space while still complementing the existing elements of the room, creating a stylish and well-balanced contrast.
