There is a lot that goes into making a hand-painted kitchen look superb. The most important part of hand-painting your kitchen is the preparation. Here are a few things we do to ensure a superior finish.
- Clean - first we remove your doors, drawer fronts and handles. we will then clean them all twice to ensure there is no dirt or grease using specialized cleaning products.
- Preparation - We sand down all cabinets and drawers using a 99% dust-free sander
- Primers - Our qualified and experienced kitchen painter will know which primer is right for which type of cabinet and paint.
- Paints - the quality of the paint used will determine the durability and longevity of the final finish. Often 2 of 3 coats will be needed
- Finishing Touches - Once the Paint has dried we replace the kitchen cabinets and re-level or adjust and doors that require it. and clean and masking papers, coverings, films and also the inside of your cabinets to reveal your beautiful, renewed kitchen

The paint brand I use, Benjamin Moore offers a range of over 3500 different colours available in matt, eggshell, satin or gloss finishes.
That depends on many factors including primers and paints used as well as who has painted it. But the paints I use like Benjamin Moore Scuff X and Advance paints have scrub ratings above and beyond much of the paint available today allowing for everyday cleaning.
I would say there are 4 options, matt, eggshell, satin or gloss and a lot of it is down to personal choice. In the main they are all as durable as each other but eggshell or satin are by far the most popular, with eggshell being my favourite.
This is a very difficult question to answer, all kitchen are different and will have different requirements to get it to a painted finish but an average type of cost per door maybe around £100.
This is entirely up to the painter doing the job. Some will spray, some will brush and roll and some will do a mixture of the two.

This depends on how big your kitchen is and how many units there are, but most projects can be completed with 1-2weeks.
Yes, you can, but that’s not to say you won’t some disruption. On my initial visit I will fully explain the process and what is required to have job go as smoothly as possible for you the customer. Some of my previous customers have arranged this type of workaround going away on holiday which is great for both of us.
